We tore the bread with our hands and dipped it in the sauce – a delicious mess.
In Morocco, the tagine It really caught my attention: meat cooked with plums and spices, all in a clay pot that makes the flavor even more special.

In South Africa, I tasted mopane, dried larvae that look like a crunchy snack.
At first I turned my nose up at it, but it tastes like peanuts – and it’s full of protein, you know? These dishes showed me how food in Africa is pure creativity, born from real life, from what the land offers.

Yes, giant roasted ants! The flavor is earthy, almost like chestnut, and I loved the texture.
Here in Brazil, the tacaca from the Amazon was one of the best surprises: that yellow broth with jambu that makes your tongue tremble.

Last but not least, Oceania took me to flavors that seem to come straight out of a movie.
In Australia, I ate witchetty grub, a fat grub that the aborigines roast on the grill. It's juicy, with a nutty flavor – and I loved the roots vibe.
In New Zealand, the hangi It hit me in the stomach: meat and potatoes cooked in a floor oven, with a smoky touch that is pure comfort.
In Fiji, the kokoda refreshed me with fish marinated in coconut and lime – a tropical version of ceviche that I could eat every day.
