I have always been passionate about traveling and visiting incredible countries has always been a dream since I was little.

Today, with a few miles accumulated and many memories in my luggage, I realize that the world is full of incredible countries that deserve to be explored.

Whether you're the type who prefers icy mountains or warm beaches, there's a special corner waiting for you.

So, grab a coffee, sit down with me and let's travel together to some of these destinations that, I promise, will make your heart beat faster.

Norway: Where nature speaks loudest

First, I want to take you to Norway. You know those places that look like they came out of a fairy tale?

That's exactly how I felt when I first stepped foot there.

I was in Bergen, a small town surrounded by mountains and fjords, with colorful houses that seemed to defy the gray sky.

I took a boat to explore Sognefjord, the largest fjord in the country, and was left speechless.

The water was such a deep blue that it looked like a mirror reflecting the snow-capped mountains.

But what really left an impression on me was the Northern Lights. One night in Tromsø, I spent hours staring at the sky, wrapped in a blanket, with the cold wind blowing on my face.

Suddenly, green streaks began to dance above me. It was as if the universe was telling me a secret.

Norway is, without a doubt, one of those incredible countries that makes you feel small in the face of the grandeur of nature. Have you ever seen anything like it? If not, put this destination on your list right now.

Japan one of the amazing countries

Next, we're off to Japan – a place that touched me in a way I didn't expect. My first stop was Tokyo, and I confess I was a bit lost at first.

The flashing lights, the roar of the trains, and the crowds streaming through Shibuya Crossing made me dizzy. But at the same time, there was an energy there that pulled me in.

I ate some hot ramen at a street stall, and the owner, a gentleman with a shy smile, told me that the recipe was his grandmother's. That simplicity in the midst of chaos won me over.

Then I went to Kyoto, and it was like entering another world.

I walked past ancient temples, like Fushimi Inari, with its thousands of red gates climbing up the mountain. It was spring, and the cherry blossoms were bursting with pink.

I took off my shoes, sat on a bench and stayed there, just feeling the breeze.

Japan is like that: it challenges you with its modernity, but embraces you with its ancient soul.

Among the incredible countries I've visited, this is one that made me want to go back before I even left.

New Zealand: Adventure at every turn

Now, let me tell you about New Zealand. This place is for those who, like me, love to feel their heart racing.

My adventure began in Queenstown, a postcard-perfect city with a crystal-clear lake and mountains in the background.

There, I decided to face my fear of heights and went bungee jumping. As I fell, with the wind screaming in my ears, I thought: “What am I doing?!” But when I came up, with shaky legs and a huge smile, I knew it had been worth it.

Then I rented a car and drove around the South Island.

The roads were surrounded by landscapes that looked like they had been hand-painted: green fields, snow-capped peaks, and rivers so clear you could see the bottom.

I stopped at Milford Sound, a fjord that reminded me of Norway, but with a unique wild touch.

A local guide told me that it was “the end of the world” – and in some ways, it really did feel that way.

New Zealand is one of those incredible countries that makes you want to drop everything and live outdoors. Have you ever thought about doing something so out of the ordinary?

Brazil: The beating heart of South America

Finally, I couldn’t help but talk about Brazil – my country, my home.

Maybe I'm biased, but I truly believe it's among the most incredible countries in the world.

I grew up in the interior of São Paulo, but it was only as an adult that I began to truly explore what Brazil has to offer.

My first stop was Fernando de Noronha. When I stepped onto that white sand and dove into that sea full of colorful fish, I almost cried with emotion.

It was as if nature was giving me a gift.

Another place that left an impression on me was the Pantanal. I went with friends and we spent days observing alligators, capybaras and birds that I didn't even know existed.

At night, the sky was a carpet of stars, and the silence, broken only by the sound of animals, made me reflect on how life can be simple and beautiful.

And, of course, there's Rio de Janeiro. Climbing Sugarloaf Mountain on a sunny day, with the city at my feet, was one of those moments that I'll always remember.

Brazil is like this: diverse, warm, welcoming. One of the incredible countries that doesn't need a passport to make me happy.

What makes these countries amazing?

As I write this, I think about what unites these very different places. Maybe it’s the way they take you out of your routine and show you something bigger.

Norway taught me to appreciate the silence of nature. Japan showed me that the past and the future can dance together.

New Zealand gave me the courage to face my fears. And Brazil? Well, it reminded me that beauty lies in the simple things, like a sunset or a hug from a friend.

Furthermore, each of these incredible countries has its own energy.

It's as if they were talking to you, telling you their stories through the landscapes, the people, the flavors.

It doesn't matter if you prefer the cold of the mountains or the heat of the beach, there is a destination waiting to transform you.

Tips for Exploring Amazing Countries

If you're thinking about visiting these places, here's some advice from someone who's already gotten lost (and found) out there: plan, but leave room for the unexpected.

In Norway, for example, I hadn’t planned on seeing the Northern Lights – it was a gift of chance. In Japan, a random street led me to a hidden café that I’ve never forgotten.

In New Zealand, a detour on the road led me to a waterfall that was not on the map.

And in Brazil, a last-minute invitation took me to the Salvador carnival, an explosion of joy that changed my view of celebration.

Research the weather, visas, and best times to go, of course. But above all, go with an open heart.

These incredible countries have a lot to teach you, and you will only discover it if you take the first step.

Why does traveling change us?

Writing about this reminded me of something my grandmother used to say: “The world is a book, and those who don’t travel only read the first page.” I agree with her.

Each trip to these incredible countries left me a little different – more curious, more grateful, more alive.

Sometimes I come back with a photo or a souvenir. But most of the time, I come back with a story that can't be told in words.

So, where will your next destination be? Maybe you’ll start in Norway, to chase the auroras, or in Japan, to try some authentic sushi. Or maybe New Zealand, with its breathtaking hiking trails, or Brazil, with its warm human touch?

Wherever you go, I'm sure these incredible countries will leave as much of an impression on you as they did on me.
