International destination for children: Orlando, the Kingdom of Magic

If there is one international destination for children that is unanimous, it is Orlando. We took our children to Disney and the experience was simply magical.

From the entrance to Magic Kingdom to the fireworks displays, everything was designed to delight the little ones (and adults too!).

Our kids loved every detail, from meeting their favorite characters to trying out the themed attractions.

A special highlight was the “Meet the Princesses,” where our daughter was delighted to chat with Cinderella and Belle. For our son, the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge park was an unforgettable adventure, including getting to fly the Millennium Falcon!

Destination: Paris and the Magic of Disneyland Paris

Another international destination for children that surprised us was Paris.

Despite being a very romantic destination, the city also offers incredible options for children. Disneyland Paris was a real dream for our children.

The park is smaller than the one in Orlando, but it is no less charming.

The shows, parades and rides were very well enjoyed by the whole family.

We also took advantage of the trip to have a picnic in the Luxembourg Gardens, which has a wonderful playground for children, as well as toy boats to sail in the fountain.

International Destination for Children: London and its Magic for Children

London was another pleasant surprise! Many people don’t think of the city as an international destination for children, but it has a ton of attractions for little ones.

Our visit to the Natural History Museum was an absolute success! The children were fascinated by the giant dinosaur skeleton right at the entrance.

Another highlight of the trip was the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, where we saw the Harry Potter sets.

Even those who haven't read the books are enchanted by the magical world. To top it off, we took a ride on the London Eye and enjoyed the city's parks, such as Hyde Park and Regent's Park.

International destination for children: Tokyo and its Enchanted World

Our trip to Japan was one of the most unforgettable, and Tokyo is an international destination for children that surprises in every way.

The first highlight was Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, two incredible parks with a unique atmosphere.

But the city has much more to offer than just theme parks. We visited the Ghibli Museum, a delightful place for little ones who love animation.

We also went to the Odaiba neighborhood, where there is an interactive museum full of activities for children, as well as a giant Gundam robot that will impress anyone!

Tips for choosing the best Destination

After so many experiences, I have learned some valuable lessons about planning an international trip with little ones:

  1. Choose a destination with child-friendly infrastructure – check if there are playgrounds, kids’ spaces in restaurants and easy transportation.
  2. Prioritize direct flights or flights with short connections – very long scales can be tiring for little ones.
  3. Create a flexible itinerary – include breaks for rest and moments of spontaneous leisure.
  4. Bring entertainment items for the journey – tablets, books and games can save the trip.
  5. Research baby food at your destination – it’s not always easy to find foods that children like.

Traveling with children may require a little more planning, but the rewards are immeasurable.

Every smile, every look of enchantment and every new discovery makes all the effort worthwhile.

But traveling with children can seem like a big challenge, but with good planning and choosing the right destination, the experience can be unforgettable. If you are thinking about an international destination for children, I hope these tips and experiences help you in your decision.
