1. Albarracín, Spain

Imagine a medieval village surrounded by walls and mountains, with earth-colored houses and stone streets.

Albarracín seems to have stopped in time! I spent two days exploring every corner, and I swear, it is one of the most charming places I have ever visited in Spain, it is one of the incredible destinations that I recommend.

2. Yakushima Island, Japan

Few people include Yakushima on their Japan itinerary, but this island is a natural paradise!

It's one of those places where you feel like you've stepped into a fantasy film, with dense forests and ancient trees.

This is where Studio Ghibli was inspired to create the forest in “Spirited Away.”

3. Kotor, Montenegro

When I arrived in Kotor, I asked myself: “Why isn’t this place on everyone’s lips?”

The city has one of the most impressive fjords in Europe, an incredible wall and a very well-preserved medieval center.

Climbing to the top of the fortress and watching the sunset was one of the best experiences of my life.

4. Svaneti, Georgia

Georgia (the country, not the US state) is already an under-explored destination, and the Svaneti region is even more unique!

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, historic villages and medieval towers, Svaneti made me feel like I was in a fairy tale, definitely one of the incredible destinations for you to discover.

5. Inle Lake, Myanmar

Everyone talks about Bagan, but few explore Inle Lake.

The calm vibe of this place won me over.

6. Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mostar is famous for its iconic bridge, but this city has much more to offer.

The Ottoman buildings, the turquoise river and the mix of cultures make it an unmissable destination.

Oh, and watching the divers jumping off the Stari Most bridge is a sight to behold!

7. Lofoten Island, Norway

If you want to see breathtaking landscapes, you need to go to Lofoten.

When I visited, I was completely mesmerized by the mountains emerging from the sea, the colorful fishermen's houses and the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights.

One of the most magical places I've ever been!

8. Salento, Colombia

Many people go to Cartagena and Medellín, but Salento is a hidden gem in Colombia.

9. Sao Tome Island, Sao Tome and Principe

If you want a tropical paradise without the crowds, São Tomé is the place.

Untouched nature, deserted beaches and incredible waterfalls, but the hospitality of the local people made all the difference in my experience.

Not to mention the local chocolate, which is some of the best in the world!

Greece? No, Albania! Ksamil has turquoise seas worthy of Santorini, but without the exorbitant prices.
